They are also committed to the reduction of post-harvest waste which ranges anywhere from 20-50% depending on the crop.
Kuhle Mnisi is a single mother and is the co-founder of Rush Nutrition. About 7 years ago with a friend from high school who had since qualified as a chef they bootstrapped the business- juggling jobs- until they won a national listing with Pick n Pay (and their SME award for Most Innovative Products) in 2017. 1.5years ago they partnered with Secha Capital to scale the brand and expand their footprint outside of Africa.
