Youth Day: Tractor treats Brightstart kids to a day out on Table Mountain
Celebrating #YouthDay is all about honouring and respecting the youth of our generation for what they have accomplished in their lives.
So why not start early and reward those young kids by empowering them to become the best they can be for their future. #TractorOutdoor decided to sponsor one of their CSI project NGO’s BrightStart by treating the kids to a day out on #TableMountain.
The #BrightStart team believes that access to quality and holistic education builds intellectual capital and is vital to creating a flourishing society and ensuring lasting positive social and behavioural change within #SouthAfrica. They were founded in 2008 with an initial intake of only 7 kids and as of today they provide access to quality education to 36 children from the age of six upwards.
The team was greeted at the Table Mountain #cableway entrance with all their goodies and each received a Tractor branded cap to shield them from the sun. They enjoyed a fun day out admiring the beautiful views of #CapeTown and even had a picnic.
“I just wanted to say thank you for your incredibly generous treat of a trip up Table Mountain for our kids yesterday. An important part of our programme is to broaden the horizons of our beneficiaries by giving them the chance to experience things beyond the harsh realities of their everyday lives in Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg, and we couldn’t do it without the support of donors like Tractor. Thank you for giving them memories that will last a lifetime.’’ Says Kathy Kelly, Co-Founder of BrightStart.
