Tractor hosts Women in Business High Tea to celebrate Women's Month
This year has been an evolutionary year for #TractorOutdoor; with newly aligned company goals set for 2019-2020 financial year one of their core focuses is building relationships with their clients.
The concept of the event emerged during marketing strategic planning sessions, that’s when a decision was made to host an event not only celebrating #WomensDay but Women’s month. The purpose was to motivate, encourage and inspire women all looking to venture out and pursue their own dreams whether it was within their current workplace, a side line business or starting their own business entirely from scratch.
The event was held at the #BelmondMountNelson on 1st August where over 50 women were treated to an elegant high tea and wonderful speakers namely Phillipa Geard; CEO and Founder of RecruitMyMom and RecruitAGraduate, Irene Ochem; CEO and Founder of African Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) and Tracey Chambers; CEO and Co-Founder of The Clothing Bank and GROW Educare Centres.
There was also an opportunity to support local vendors at the event, including Little Day Dream Mobile Beauty, Every Second Counts, WOW Jude and Tranquillity Eye , all of which are women-owned businesses. The ladies left the event feeling emotionally inspired and also had a goodie bag to take home to enjoy; sponsored by various companies such as Pink Cosmetics, African Extracts, Esse, Cannameds, Urban Beauty Lounge, Simply Bee, Lula Fox, Nanuki and Creative Glamour.
#Tractor had an overwhelming response from their clients and received many thank you emails and calls and various referrals regarding the companies involved.
