Ster-Kinekor recently upgraded their cinema at the V&A Waterfront to bring the next level cinematic experience to Cape Town. They have elevated the entertainment suite by introducing a newly upgraded Kid’s Cinema with ball pit and slide as well as an unparalleled comfort experience in the Nouveau Cinema and Cine Prestige, which makes the perfect pairing for date night.
The Campaign
This new flagship cinema is an exciting fusion of the Ster-Kinekor world-class entertainment experience and the modern, industrial aesthetic that the V&A Waterfront offers.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, Ster-Kinekor ran a thrilling opening promotion from 16 – 30 June 2022, which was promoted through Tractor’s Roadside and Digilite digital networks.
To generate hype and excitement around the grand opening on 16 June, Ster-Kinekor’s campaign was geofenced to POI’s where you would typically find the upper market audience segment and proposed sites within close proximity to these areas.
The Results
The campaign reached a total of 903,497 impressions during the month of June.
