The Client

The Cannabis Expo is the global marketplace for education and innovative products and businesses serving the cannabis industry and its medicinal, agricultural, financial and lifestyle aspects. It’s also the one of the largest comprehensive cannabis convention to take place in Africa,

The Campaign

The campaign objective was to focus on brand awareness and increasing ticket sales for the Cape Town Expo (24th – 27 March) which was held at the Sun Exhibits Hall at GrandWest featuring over 150 exhibitors representing the full spectrum of the cannabis industry.

Over a period of 7 days from 21st – 27 March we ran The Cannabis Expo creative on six of our Roadside Digital screens situated on major arterials and highways in various suburbs. The creative was flighted 3 days prior to the event to boost ticket sales until the last day of the event on the 27th for those who wanted to grab those last-minute tickets.

The Results

The campaign generated a total of 129,526 impressions over 8,494 ad plays for 7 days. The Cannabis Expo is planning to build presence in other regions as well for the Joburg and Durban Expos.
